The actor best known as Barney Fife on "The Andy Griffith Show" and as landlord Ralph Furley on "Three's Company" died Friday at 81.

I loved "Three's Company". He added a classic comic spark to it. Sad to see him go.

Rough week, we lost Barney Fife, McCloud, and Kolcheck the Night Stalker within days of each other.
I remember these guys from my childhood.
RIP and thanks for all you gave us.
I think I remember Don Knotts most for doing Incredible Mister Limpet, a cartoon fish and one of my favorite childhood movies.

I remember that movie from when I was a kid too. 
I like The Shakiest Gun In The West as well.
